Where do I begin. My time has been an experience totally. The attitude from people around you when you are out and about. Doors opened for you, smile at you in the street, appologise for getting in your way, and generally put themselves out for you. Why do people treat wheelbound people differently. I was even outside a shop with my children and my husband was inside, I had my purse in my hand open, and a man who thougt he had my interest at heart, because I was in a wheelchair to give a lecture on being a target to untoward persons. I did tell him I wasn't disabled, but he still gave the lecture, would I have been spoken to like that if I had been on my two feet.
After I have finished this I am now returning te item- I am not totally mobile in distance I walk but I will be interested how I will be treated now.
Anyway has anyone had any experience or have a view on this?
